Découvertes is a fund exclusively invested in shares and therefore eligible for French PEA fund status. The fund has been managed by us since 1993 using the same investment criteria, namely value, stock-picking, and contrarian.
Découvertes aims to profit from valuation anomalies to be found in the market. The managers are ready to go against the market stream, seeking shares at (unjustifiably) low prices.
This fund cannot be compared to any benchmark. It may be compared to the CAC Small index even it isn’t really similar in composition or performance.
Indeed, the manager picks shares here and there, depending on their price, if they are known from the others investors or not, … The fund doesn’t follow a precise benchmark, however it can be compared to the CAC Small one, even though it is far the same in composition, or performance.

The managers and investment philosophy have not changed since 1993 which is unique in such a long period.
Management by conviction
Découvertes is managed on the basis of our own ideas and convictions. We may hold positions against the flow of the market. The fund is heavily invested in small shares, which although sometimes illiquid have strong market potential. It may also be subject at times to high volatility and not perform in line with the indices.
The UCITS presented hereby is authorized for distribution in France. Not all UCITS are suitable for every investor.
